not sure what your problem is about, but there's an obvious potential relation between age and number of consoles (older are more likely to have more as they were alive when they were sold) and it would be something to consider for accuracy reasons if necessary

I own a Wii U, a Wii, a PS3, an Xbox 360, a GBA SP and a 3DS, so that's 6 (7 if you count my not really functioning PS2). And I used to have a Gamecube, a PS1, and a Gameboy Color.
