There's no way that Brawl will be very similar to Melee. There will definitely be a bunch of new pros at the game, probably the people who got it first and played it nonstop. Also, having such a tournament would be kind of stupid, because most people wouldn't have unlocked all the characters yet, so they couldn't use their favourite character online.

SOME LUCKY PEOPLE will get the game early and those some lucky people would win the tourny.

That would be cool, but I'd probably be too busy learning the new characters' moves. Plus the release day, the EB Games near my home is going to have a Melee tournament for a copy of Brawl. I must win that crap, because a free game is worth more to me than online failure and horrible lag from all the entrants.
