Why didn’t they (at the very least) give Mr. Stevenson a spirit, again?![]()
I wish I could tell you. Can't I do it the other way around ?
There are a lot of options. Personally I think the Zapper logo from the NES Light Gun Series is perhaps the best option. What would his series icon even be?
Eehh... should it be though? I mean, you'd think that Duck Hunt (who is currently playable in Smash) would have gone with that first, yet...There are a lot of options. Personally I think the Zapper logo from the NES Light Gun Series is perhaps the best option.View attachment 301555
True but to be fair, due to Duck Hunt’s overall iconicness, I think the ducks are a much better fit. With Gumshoe being a much more obscure gem, and also the last game from the Zapper series left for representation in Smash, I think it makes sense, in a way. Plus it wouldn’t be the first time an NES accessory gets made into an icon, since the gyros are R.O.B.’s icon symbol too. Still, like I said, there are plenty of other optionsEehh... should it be though? I mean, you'd think that Duck Hunt (who is currently playable in Smash) would have gone with that first, yet...
Hehe yup, now I wish that was a real thing. That's pretty nice. It's like Gumshoe for the Nintendo 64.
My goodness, this looks so good! Looks like a cutscene from a scrapped Gumshoe 64! Mr. Stevenson himself also looks like he could pass for a trophy in Melee, provided he gets a bit more polish here. That reminds me, recently I had some classes on 3D modeling where we had to model a character and and a local for him, and I chose... TA-DA!!!
If Nintendo doesn’t do it, I do it myself. Now of course I’m still new to modeling and rendering and Maya is not an easy software to deal with, so of course these still look very basic, but with time I’m looking forward to making him look more official.
