Tired of waiting for E3 to finally come? Looking for a fun, silly game to play? Then you've come to the right place!
The rules are simple. I will post a couple of topics each week. You guys have to make a SSB64-sized roster that fits the topic!
For example: if the topic is 'video game villains', you must pick the most iconic and important baddies of game history. You need a minimum of 8 characters, with 4-6 additional unlockable fighters. Simply post a list with each fighter and a short explanation as to why they each deserve that spot. Feel free to include playstyles and other info too: spicing up your post really draws in the votes!
The most fun and crazy part is, of course, the topics. They will range from cereal mascots to world leaders, so you should really go wild with this!
This game is supposed to be fast-paced, so the topics will cycle each week. There will be two topics for each round, one for fictional characters and the other for real people. Judging will be simply done by liking posts - just drop a like on any roster that you think did the topic well. At the end of the week, there will be a final call for last-minute likes, and then they will all be counted up and the winners will be archived in this post. Note: Please try to be sparing with your likes. We want this to be an actual contest, not just a like-fest! Only like posts you truly want to win.
THIS WEEK'S TOPICS:
MUSICAL ARTISTS & HORROR MOVIES
>For our first real-life people topic, MUSICAL ARTISTS, you must bring together a roster of the greatest musicians who've ever lived! Note that this is for musical artists, preferably recorded artists, so classical composers won't be accepted (at least not for this round). For a general guideline, choose artists from at least the 20th century (1900 and onward). Try to take popularity, sales, and legacy into account. Also try to represent a variety of genres.
>For the first fictional characters topic, HORROR MOVIES, create a roster of the most feared horror movie characters of all time! Try to stick to villains and monsters as opposed to the protagonists of the movies. Try to take the characters' popularity and the success/legacy of their movie into account. Try to incorporate both the old and the new.
Remember, you can enter either one or both. If you plan on entering both, please keep them in separate posts (but don't double post). Additionally, please put something in the post signifying which topic you are doing.
