I am the terror that flaps in the night
with Smash coming out in the next year, I made what I believe would be a realistic roster.
Cuts:
cuts are going to happen due to development time and to make room for newcomers to keep the roster count to a manageable level. ( the more characters the more time and the harder it be to balance)
Toon Link:
- a clone of link and he is a second link
- in the background of a stage, my past exp with these types of games is if your in the background then your usually not in the game
zero suit samus:
- some say here moves where the same as wft and if so if she is in then she will be another clone.
- I would think she be revealed with samus just like brawl if she was in
Lucario:
- I see lucario going the way of the mewtwo to make room for the next pokemon addition
Lucas:
- is to close to ness in apperance and moves
- the roster has enough miilike character models
- earthbound is not big enough to me to get 2 reps
ike:
- just like roy he be replaced for the next flavor of the month character.
Newcomers:
Toad:
- here recently toad has been playable in most all mario games so I imagine this game will be no different.
King k Rool:
- DK deserves at lest 3 reps and what better way to rep the series then with the iconic villain of the series.
-smash is in need of more villains.
-has the potential to be unique
Ghirahim:
- LOZ losing a rep it will need a replacement and I dont see anything else that can be added other then him.
- has unique personality and potential to have a unique moveset.
Ridley:
- has been wanted for the game since brawl and arguable the most wanted 1st party character,
-smash needs more villains
-unique
Medusa:
- a large part of the kid icrarus franshise
- a female and a villain filling up 2 slots smash needs more of
- potential to have an intersting moveset
Little Mac:
- highly demanded character
- had a new recent game
- a leakier who predicted wii fit trainer named him to be in
Mewtwo:
- most wanted character to make a return
- getting screentime in the new game with 2 new forms
- villian
Genesect:
- well this here I admit is personal preference and can be replaced with zoroark
Jigglypuff:
- she is listed here because I believe with x and y she will have a slightly new move set
chrom:
- hero from the newest game
Takamaru:
- sakurai has hinted on wanting him in since pre brawl days
Duck Hunt:
- this is also a personal preference that I could see coming, he is a from a very imp game to the nintendo franshice and deserves to be rep some who
3rd party newcomers
Pac-man:
- namco bandai is working on the game
- a classic character and imp to video game history
- a interesting moveset
Layton:
- a personal preference again
- all games are on the 3ds
- very interesting moveset

- sakurai has shown a pattern with the second character being the partner
- a big player in the kid icarus franchise
