can anyone elaborate on how exactly to Flash Cancel, and tell me how reliable it is?

Press B during the move. And it isn't very useful.

Its not too useful. Maybe in some situations when you gotta go strait(ish) fast. But its unreliable.

If you spam B really fast after you flash, it will sometimes cancel. I found it never does it when you WANT it to happen and when you don't, like when you get excited and are about to die and try to recover, you get the best cancel where it cancels instantly. Really the only thing its useful is for mind games and such, but being unreliable, I think you are just playing mind game on yourself using it.

It can be made decent use of, to add variety to your recovery. It's hard to learn but i like it quite a lot

It would be great for your recovery if you could pull it off reliably often. I can't though >=(
