Sorry if this was posted already. but i couldn't find anything on it here. feel free to close this if this was posted already.

But the steps are simple.

Step 1. get 2 or more towels.
step 2. turn on your deadbox360
step 3. wrap your deadbox 360 in the towels 100%.
step 4. wait for 20 minutes or so. (while the xbox is ON in the towels)
step 5. unwrap your deadbox 360

step 6. turn off your deadbox360 then turn it back on. (but make sure its warm/hot) then it should be fine.

There is a youtube video that went trough these steps but im posting from my wii and i cant link nothing. these steps might work on your xbox. (it did for me)

Or you can just send it in to Microsoft and they'll send you a refurbished one with an apology letter and a free 1 month xbox live trial card.

20 minute process thzt'll probably work pr waiting for just about a month to get it back.
which sounds better.

Really? Toweling your 360 has been around for, like, years now. It's not a real solution, just a temporary fix.

...and likely to start a fire, too...

A month to get it back? Really? When I got the RROD on my 360 and sent it in, I got it a refurbished one within the week.
