After hearing about this new ISRJ (to me at least) and all that complicated lettering, I looked for alternate ways to achive this effect.

That's when I stumbled upon this new way to stick (I hope) . I know how you guys don't like huge Text Walls, so I'll put this in simple steps!

1) Run towards opponent
2) Full Hop and then instantly...
3) Do a Bair WHILE DIing towards the enemy
4) Press Down-B to stick one

So, what this looks like is Snake impersonating Superman through the person then sticking.

I've done this in Training against ROB at 0%, standing. It worked most of the time. Then for DIing, I used my arms to move the 2nd control stick one way while doing Snake's Superman Stick (hmm... sounds like a good name!).

I guess this works since Snake's head during the Bair has much less knockback (I think) allowing you to still be able to reach him/her. Unfortunately, this only works on lower percentages (I would be happy if I'm proved wrong).

So, yea. I would have gone further and maybe post a video but it's pretty late here. I'll just post this as the basis. Thanks for reading!

*Yea. If this turns out legit, let's call this the Superman Stick! :chuckle:

hmm, it seems that there's still some lag before you stick. maybe if you could make snake stick the c4 on the air it would be faster. But I'ts a good idea, shame that it'll probably not work in smaller characters, such as Meta Knight, Olimar or Toon Link.

Hmm... yea I think your right Azgner.

I would love for this idea to blossom up to more new things though.

this wont work on someone who doesnt stand still. There is no kind of hit stun to keep them there that long anyways.

true, unless they are massive, like DK or DDD. If they are not expecting the bair, you might get the stick, i tested it at wifi today, works like, 30% of the time against them.

But this can be an good mind game, if you trick the opponent into punishing this bair with an aerial, they will jump just into your C4 stick.

true, no matter how big they are, like DK or DDD. If they are not expecting the bair, you will never get the stick, i tested it on a real player today, and it works like, 0% of the time against them.

But this does'nt work, and if you trick the opponent into punishing this bair with an aerial, they will not jump into your C4 stick.
I fixed your post.

I'm not going to discuss about this. It's something. EXTREMELY situational and EXTREMELY unlikely to happen? Yes, but it's still nice to know that. And, instead of being sarcastic, you could have just said: that still won't work against most of the people. Being sarcastic is wayyy more fun? Yup, but... Well i can't think in any reason for not being sarcastic.

All I know, is that you would have to be very lucky if anyone had any idea what you were planning. At least, there is no way I would stand still long enough myself.

It is too bad there is no real consistent way to stick a mine on someone because it is funny as hell to run away and set it off if they don't realize it is on them. ;)

Agreed. But what really gets a good chuckle out of everyone is when contact is made right after said stick. Then another. Then nobody knows where the thing is if they don't keep track of the stick sounds. A good lol all around.

I have had a few times like that where I didn't know it was on me and I was talking to my friends and building up the suspense to the explosion only to set it off and kill myself.
