Ode to Hanging Gardens
What begins as a terrace along a steep mountain,
Ascends to the surface with such a fine fountain.
Simple beauty with thee
From a rose to this tree,
Shows all signs of becoming my captain.
Quoth the Hollow Ridge right adjacent
Birth to Earth - my dreams seem so nascent.
Walk many a mile
Look back for a while
And see that the worlds quite complacent.
Suspended along six cobblestone columns,
The entrance is led in a fury of slaloms.
My heart lies in sight
Of Lustrous, the night
Who'll bring shadows to beautiful blossoms.
Our adventure will bare existence no more,
Though absence, He'll liven the lilac galore.
Turn back one last time
Grace, order and rhyme
To the Beast this is simply a bore.
