A Mii Question

How could you possibly desire to play as a Mii? The idea sounds completely idiotic to me. Is it the appeal of being able to customize a character? What would they do, karate moves?

Actually good point, but I take Karate, and trust me, there are many moves that are possible. Maybe throw an L-Block instead of a ninja star >_>

I believe I read somewhere that you should make your own moves, but I'm not sure if I read that somewhere really.

... what? Can I sig that?

On topic, I think people only desire the Miis mostly because of
A) Customization
B) Playable appearances in recent Mario games. Being Mario is in smash, connect the dots...
C) General desire of playing with yourself (lol)

But I think the farthest the Miis will get in SSBB will be an AT if lucky. Trophies plausable, but their current fate, and I hope it will stay this way, will be as icons on Wifi :ohwell:

I think people want Miis for their customizability. you can choose the look(load off the Wii), possibly make your own move set. sats depend on your build, and the fact that you can create-a-stage realy boosts my hopes for Mii usage. but if anything I would rather not have them at all if they arnt playable.

Yes people want Mii's mainly for their customability (not sure if that's a word) which is also their downfall. People in the end would end up making their own broken characters not to mention it would be hard to add a fighting animation for every possible Mii. Slightly off-topic, what if there was a playable Mii with no customability? They could add a Mii for the leaders of Nintendo like Sakurai and Miyamoto.

Exactly. I don't personally think there will be a playable me with customizable moves, just customizable looks. They could have moves coming from the Wii game series; Wii Sports, Play, Fit, Music...

Though customizability isn't the only reason I think they should appear. In fact, I'd say the main reason is that they're important icons of Nintendo... new Nintendo, if you will. They're an important part of the Wii console, and they've featured in many different commercials on the Wii... The point of Smash Bros. is battling with recognizable Nintendo characters, isn't it? The Mii sure is recognizable now.

I'm not saying Miis will be playable characters (I think they'd be a good idea but I'm not sure if they'll make it); I'm just stating why they are important enough for Nintendo to be considered.

I don't think you should be able to customize their move set, instead there should be a template that all miis use. The only thing that would change is the appearance. but then you could get a mii that looks like goku or darth maul and have them fight in Brawl... how could that not appeal to everyone?

I think if Mii's were to have custamisable moves, it would be like the Mii channel. you are given a selection of options for moves, and you pick your combinations. you're Mii's statsare determined by your size and weight.
