a kinda competitive tournament

Hey everyone this will be just what the title says.... This will be a competitive battle. Everyone is invited to this tournament (beginners and experts). This is my first time ever hosting a tournament so I'm kinda nervous but I hope everything goes good

Here are the rules to this tournament
•3 lives with 8:00 minutes
•no items
•this will be a double elimination tournament
•all characters are allowed
*You can only choose from these courses*
•yoshi's island
•Halberd
•Pokemon stadium 1
•Battle field
•Smashville
•and my personal favorite Final Destination
•AND THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE HAVE FUN

As for the date of this tournament it will be September 22..... Not sure about the time though.

I live in alaska so anytime between 6:am and 9:am would be fine.

However I'm not sure what time that would be all the way over there in"eating tocos"?

You'll have to register but its worth it. It'll be a lot cleaner and easier to see that way. And you'll know who you are facing round 2,3 etc.

But what you posted isn't really a bracket. How will we know who faces who round 2 and round 1 in losers and so forth?

Also, you haven't specified what Winner's Finals, Loser's Finals and Grand Finals are best of.

It's not as simple as choosing who will face who next especially when it comes to double elimination. It will get really confusing that way and you won't know if the numbers are even (they currently aren't) and who should get a bye etc.

Ahh I see why you are getting confused. We don't need a complicated generator like that. Hmmm if I could just remember the one we used to use, it was a lot simpler.

So what you are saying is I should just say who goes first, second, .... Last.... I think to make it easier for me I should just draw a graph......

Also here is how I planned it.... First we would play the tournament until we get a winner from the winner bracket..... Then we continue onto the loser bracket until we get a winner for the L bracket.... After that the winners for both brackets go head on and there comes the winner of the tournament......

No, that's not how it goes. Winners bracket and Losers bracket are not completely separate, they are intertwined because constantly people from Winners are dropping to specific losers bracket rounds. The loser from Winner's Finals faces the Winner from Losers bracket. This is called Losers finals. Then whoever wins that faces the Winner from Winner's finals. This is called Grand Finals.

The person coming from losers has to win 2 sets to win Grand finals, the person coming from Winners only has to win one.

Again, you won't be able to understand it until we find a simple bracket maker. You have to see it or it will probably not make sense to you.
