A grand tournament

So, I feel there should be a huge tournament somewhere in the middle of the US. This tournament would be a crew tournament where every state enters their top 5 or 6 players. It would be like a double elimination crew battle tournament. I feel like it would be awesome and the winning crew would have the rights to say they are the best state in the country. The entry fee would be like $100 or $150 per team. Thoughts?

To have something with a guaranteed 5-10 people from EVERY state sounds pretty impossible. Even gathering the best players from each region at national tournaments for crew battles is difficult in itself, but have still been done in the past iirc. But I'm a lurker noob so who knows. The idea is neat, but I don't think people would pay very much or anything at all for a crew battle tournament.

You might as well divide California into NorCal and SoCal because population-wise those two regions would be among the biggest states anyways, and those two kind of have their own respective communities as far as I know

Yea.. I tried my hardest not to mention cali in the post lol. I mean, theres still room for second and third place, but like someone mentioned earlier, gathering 4 or 6 people from each state is hard as ****. Oh well, maybe in 2020, this tournament will happen.

I always tell myself that if I ever win the lottery I would host I gigantic, two week long round robin tournament and invite EVERYONE, flying in most of Europe, south america, japan and other amazing people in the US who are tight on cash. That way we could see matches like Javi vs Armada that we all want to see. Lovage, Silent Wolf and Dark could colab on a tech skill video and all of our greatest fanboy dreams would come true.

Add an extra week for doubles too.

Then I would record every single match and create like two days worth of combo videos.

if i won the lottery i would do a very similar thing. invitational 64 man singles bracket of the world's top players, livestreamed and hired commentators (good ol brandon and phil, also wobbles for seriousness)
