Yo! Hey, what's happening with you guys? So then, sometime in the future right after Kingdom Heart's Sora's release for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, I'm just wanting to know if you think that there will be a Super Smash Bros. reboot for the unnamed Nintendo Switch successor, whether or not Masahiro Sakurai is involved in? Why? Please let me know, thanks.;)

Depends on what you mean as a reboot.

If you mean a ground-up sequel that uses no assets from Ultimate, then that would be too much of a loss of content.

If you mean a sequel that overhauls some of the mechanics but still cleans up most/all of the assets from Ultimate, that would be ideal.

I wouldn’t say there would be a roster reboot so much as there would be likely some new gameplay innovation to help curb the backlash towards roster cuts.
Obligatory push for "super special" moves by pressing Y+direction (or AB+direction).
