A fuller adventure mode?

One thing I noticed when play SSBM the other day was that like, the first couple levels of adventure mode were pretty cool. Mario had his own sidescrolling level, so did Link. Samus.. had kind of an up-scrolling level, but aside from that Adventure mode wasn't so adventurous. It just turned into classic mode really because it was just fighting characters on their home stages!

I mean come on! Bowser only got FD???? I was totally expecting a castle dungeon thing leading up to bowser.

So, who thinks that SSBB should have a fuller adventure mode where everyone gets their own indoor dungeon like place? like link's? :D

Well, I don't think they should necessarly have an indoor dungeon (Mario's Adventure-level?), but yeah they should make it better this time.

If they are going to force us to play Single Player Mode in order to unlock characters, they should start with the most basic of things.
A... I.
The computers in SSBM are so incredibly boring and yet annoying and frustrating to fight ( speaking from the POV of a newbie like me ), it's not even funny. First, fix THAT for the love of god!

After that, some adventure stuff would be cool. The sidescrolling stages were pretty cool.. for.. like, 5 minutes. It just didn't feel right, and the enemies were lousy. You attack a Koopa Troopa and for some reason get hit without even touching it, then a Like Like falls on top of you from out of nowhere and funny music starts playing while you try to wriggle out of your slimy host.

Did I mention I hate the SSBM single-player mode?

Britain, glaring at you **** yanks.
I think we all want it improved. Maybe different courses for different characters? Or the same courses but different parts that only certain characters can get through. Like a high part that only flying characters can reach, and a destructible wall that only charge attacks can break, like Marths B and Samus' charged B. And maybe a low wall that only small characters can crawl under. So some characters might have 2 choices to go through.

Man, this idea would kick butt.

I would agree to that. If they have something like that, it could bring adventure mode into a whole new meaning.

I just want a story mode with each character having a different reason for fighting.

Adventure mode was a good concept but it needed better execution also I agree with the comment about the AI seriously what the hell was that fighting against the AI is so boring is not even funny.

I think that all the stages should be unorthodox, non-'battle x character on y normal stage' stages in Adventure mode. Anything beyond that would be weird.
