A final farewell to Brawl.

Hi guys so I thought I would just make a thread to look back on the game that got me through my teenage years as Brawl played a very, very big part in my life considerably and as such I want to give a fond farewell (tripping and all) Brawl is the game that made me appreciate Metroid, Star Fox and Most notably Mother and the other really miscellaneous characters like I would also to like to thank it for introducing me to these characters that I grew to love over the 6/7 years I played of it I got Brawl day 1 and have loved every single minute of it being my first Smash it let me get a look at a lot of things that were brand new to me and as such made me the Gamer I am today. I would like to pay a tribute with a song for each of my favourites that didn't make it to HD Smash Rest easy friends Thanks for the memories :')

: Ah Wolf the only villain I could fully understand and play as, you were the best Star Fox character if not for just being a bad-ass Keep stopping them Starbucks :'P "Cant let you brew that StarBucks" May we meet again soon...

and last but not least : God when I first played Ness after I unlocked him I sucked with him I couldn't use his PK
Thunder for the life of me but then there was Lucas just sitting there I figured I might try him out. And from that day onward I have Pk loved him ever since he was perfect for my play style and I am so glad he helped introduce me to the Mother series I will always miss and question why he's gone but alas unless DLC things don't look good for my little buddy Well Lucas it has been a blast I will always remember the god times we had using that back air Stay cool man "PK Freeze" Till the moon and back. No crying until the end Rest easy bud :')

So to end this I would like you guys to tell me your memories with Brawl good or bad did you lose your character

I lost my 3rd main, Wolf.
For me, I got Brawl in 2009, when I was young. Up until February, Lucario was my main. It helped learn about a ton of new characters, and introduced me to game series. Good night Brawl...sleep well.

I liked Wolf and I will surely miss him in Smash 3DS/Wii U. He was pretty fun and unique among the Star Fox characters.

I've played Brawl at random intervals of time since it came out and I do quite enjoy it. I love how crazy strong Luigi can be in that game and he seems to be the very same with the strength in the new game. It also introduced me to Ike, who is pretty awesome and fights for his friends. I have fond memories of playing Brawl to some degree, but they surely will not be forgotten and maybe even enhanced upon.

My best memories of brawl was winning a local doubles tourney. Other than that not much once the honey moon phase ended i didn't find it thrilling as competitive game for me but as a casual game it was the most fun i had in awhile.

I remember when I first got brawl. My best friend and I actually played through the subspace emissary together. We didn't skip any of the cutscenes either (because it was our first time playing.) so it took all night to beat it. That was the most fun we ever had in brawl. Brawl was actually the game I started to get competitive with. Mostly because of it's online features (bad as they were) getting me into the competitive sites I never knew about. I'm hoping to get really competitive in Smash 4. Might even start going to tournaments. (Syracuse is a rather competitive dead zone when it comes to smash but I know there's gonna be a tournament soon)

My best memories of Brawl are from when I was playing Project M and not Brawl. Good riddance, I say.

Will miss Lucas though, not gonna lie.

Goodbye Brawl, it's truly one of the best games ever, with the SSE, we finally saw our favorite Nintendo characters interacting together without beating the **** out of each other.

I had Brawl 3 years ago and I absolutely loved it although not as much as I loved the original Smash Bros. game. Brings back a lotta good memories. I might consider playing Brawl one last time before Smash 3DS comes out.

I sure will miss and the most though...

Oh it's not the end for me, at least yet.

There are plenty of stuff that never made it's way to Smash 4 (some stages, some characters) and I will play Brawl every now and then just for those. Heck, I already play 64 and Melee every now and then, why can't do the same for Brawl?

You realize there's a Brawl board, right? Should've been posted there (and probably has), for one.

Furthermore just because you/a majority of the fanbase won't play it anymore doesn't mean this is "farewell."

Lastly, the new game isn't out yet (internationally, at least). Save the sentimental crap for afterwards.
