Sorry for this n00b-questions, but I'd like to konw that.

1. Questions of technical stuff:

-When sombody is shielding my dair, he can immediately attack, and that before I can shine. When the opponent is shielding my dair, do I must press earlier L/R than if he doesnt shield, or am I too slow?

- multishine is: shine > jump > immediately shine again... not?? when I do this, I'm already in the air, not on the ground at the second shine.... Am I too slow or do I a fault?

2. Could you explane me this words: Instant Edgehogs, Edgestalls and Spacing

3. What's the diffrends between JC shine and shinecancel.... I think it's the same, not? It's only shine and jump out of it... isnt it?

You need to fastfall and L-cancel. If they are getting a move in thats not a shine, than you're not doing either of those things. Press L right before you hit the ground. You might needt o start your dair earlier too.

You just need to press buttons faster.

2. Could you explane me this words: Instant Edgehogs, Edgestalls and Spacing

Well thats a really broad question but edgestalls are when you're attempting to stay on the edge with invincibility as long as possible. Usually done by dropping from the edge and immediately using UpB, which will cancel and you will grab the edge.

Spacing would be exactly what it means. Space your distance so you may outreach or put yourself into a beneficial position

Yes they're pretty much the same thing

For the next time try not to post an infinite amount of questions. People don't like to write answers or read a lot of stuff. Just ask questions in threads relating to this subject matter, or go to the DaShizWiz or Forward threads (silly falcos).

yes it will spike as long as the hitbox is out, although it may not spike as fast. you shouldn't start it until you are about to fastfall.

Montreal. PM me if you're on the island! I need op
Oh, you play the PAL version. Falco's dair only spikes in the first half of it's animation in PAL, guys. The second half of the hitbox does not spike. I think he's worried about the spike half of the hitbox not to work against a shield properly?

When you're using dair against a shield, it dosn't matter if you hit with the spike or not. You need the dair to come off as fast as possible when you pillar (dair -> shine - > dair -> shine on a shield). Use the spike half of the dair, just because it's faster.

By the way, the term "instant edgehog" refers to one of 2 things:

1) Yoshi's instant edgehog is when you fall off the edge, the double jump back towards the stage. Because Yoshi goes down a little before the jump, he will grab the edge. A little bit confusing to explain, but you can see it in this videoat 0:08. Just watch him grab the edge on the first combo in the video.

2)Pivotting into an edgehog. This is very hard to do, and the only professional player I'm aware of who uses it in matches is PC Chris. To see it, watch PC vs Ken at MLG New York, PC does it a few times.

have I understood correctly: The timing of the dair must to be so, that it hits the shield in the FIRST half of the hitbox, because it's faster.... after the hit I can L-Cancel and shine the opponent... did you mean this?

Sry, what's "PAL"?

Thank you guys, for your help! =)

PAL is just an updates version of the game that has touch ups and bug fixes that were in version NTSC 1.0 1.1 and 1.2. Such as only the earlier versions, maybe just 1.0, i'm not sure had Bowser's Flamecancel and Link's super jump.

In the PAL version, they changed those and change Falco's dair to only the first half of the hitbox spiking.
