question: is it possible to code a shortcut from the css to the custom control scheming to save massive time?
I think everybody would love the person who figures out how to do this forever and ever.

Woah sick idea!!

Let me add a bit to it though, how about when you make a new name on the CSS you get to make the controls right there too.

Not to get a little off-topic, but if someone could figure out how to force the CSS to remember selections (which character everyone had, names, colors), that would be great too. I never understood why they took that out of Brawl.

I think that would be a matter of finding out what stores the values of each player's character, team/color, and name and then having a code that would save it. Either way, that would be amazing to have since it's terribly obnoxious to set it up every single time.

On-topic: Agree. I never liked Brawl's awkward menu system and why you had to back out, go to options, and go to controls just to change them. Mix that and my idea together and I would love the person who did this.

Also, being able to soft reset while the stage your playing loads to go back to the menu, or CSS, would be great. Saves time when the wrong stage is selected.

well, In Melee while a stage was loading you could soft reset in the first few seconds of it's loading and it would take you back to the Menu.
