With the new iteration of smash and a plethora of controller options this time around (whether licensed or unlicensed by nintendo) I was looking at maining a controller for this game to practise with. I really like the design of the 8bitdo SN30 Pro Controller since its layout is identical to the snes (with two joysticks added). I like simple designs for controllers and did really well with super nintendo controllers back in the day. Since its compact, the button layout seems like everything is close together, which means my fingers dont have to travel much (I used to slide my thumbs quickly over XYAB back in the day, much harder to do with modern controllers.) The joysticks position I'm not 100% sold on though.
Has anyone had any experience trying these for smash? I'd like feedback before i shell out the $$$.
