I have been having huge desyncing issues while playing online. Usually matches last 30 seconds or so before issues arise. I did not have any issues while using the old 5.0 codeset. Does anyone know if this is a 6.0 issue or a nintendo server issue?

6.0 works fine online. I play with an edited txt and I'm fine.

Tell the guys you play with to run the auto updater again before playing.

Make sure buffer is the same.
Make sure code sets are the same.
Buy a usb to Ethernet adapter if you can. Makes online play soo much better.

Nothing to do with servers, never will. You don't play via any server, it's peer to peer and all data does not go through any tunnel. You may not be updated correctly and should probably try reinstalling B+. And an ethernet adapter isn't as great as it sounds, because the average connection speed of a house wireless network is far greater than the actual speeds you are getting on the internet connection, so having an ethernet adapter just ensures you don't get any wireless interference. So long as you aren't playing through any brick walls, you are fine.

The difference between wire and wireless is in latency, not speed.
But yeah, nothing to do with any desyncing.

The ethernet ensures that you don't have drop problems and depending on how good your router is this can solve some problems. For example when I used wifi I could do singles fine but team matches would cause me to disconnect half way into the match.

Plus I rather trust Nintendo to make/purchase a decent usb port more than a wifi receiver >_>.

My friend and I ran the auto updater again and it working fine now. I always assumed there were servers because of how awful the lag is most of the time. Then again, I've never not played with someone with wifi.
