There is a group called TheSpeedGamers. They are a group of people who do marathons of various video game series for charity. In total they've raised over $15,000 for various charities including ACT Today, Giggles Therapy, St. Jude's Hospital, and more. Their upcoming event is for Ally's House, a group that helps families with children undergoing treatment for cancer.

In two days, on the 13th, they are starting their 3-Day-Long Legend of Zelda Marathon. They will be playing the following games:
* The Legend of Zelda
* Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
* A Link to the Past
* Link’s Awakening
* The Ocarina of Time
* Majora’s Mask
* Oracle of Ages
* Oracle of Seasons
* The Wind Waker
* The Minish Cap
* Twilight Princess
* Phantom Hourglass
* Four Swords Adventures

They will be attempting to complete all of these within 72 hours. They've done Zelda a few times in the past so they are pretty skilled and won't disappoint.

I encourage everyone to at least stop by and check it out when it starts in two days. I've watched many of their marathons and they are always very entertaining. Since this is a charity event, it would be great if people could donate. Those who cannot make a donation can help just as much by spreading the word.

Well, I just played all of those games myself.

It took my 3 days just to beat one of them...

I guess I'm not a speed gamer.

i wonder how they are defining completing the game....

is it just beating the end boss? because if so this shouldnt be terribly difficult.

if they are collecting every item, heart container, completing every minor quest line, and collecting every bug, this is insane. to do that for EVERY Zelda game? this makes more sense, as the word "complete" is used, and I dont see it as completely beat unless you have done everything possible in the game.

anyone know which they are doing?

They beat all of the games, then if there is time they go back and start to 100% them.

EDIT: Marathon has started.

Also, at the end, they are going to play the CDI games for the hell of it.

I'm surprised! It's only 50 hours and they've already gotten to twilight princess and only have four swords and phantom hourglass left. Phantom Hourglass shouldn't last long but Four Swords can either work for you or against you depending on how well everyone works together. (if they've practiced enough it'll be for them of course).

Yup appearently they're doing four people on four swords. That's pretty tough O.o

I never knew what a cd-i game was or how it even worked so hopefully i can look forward to that.
