A little late for this but I wonder what people think of Marth being able to do a weak counter within his dancing blade string. For example, on the third and then being able to do the final fourth hit after a lag time. I think this would make Dancing Blade much more interesting and would further differentiate it from Roy (which has the fourth reverse hit mix-up).

Most players are able to wavedash out of shield, roll away, or use their out of shield options to escape marth's dancing blades by the second hit. You could use the first and second then when they expect a third you can wait for it to end and counter as a mix up. The problem with having a chain into counter is that people will always know its coming and it would be common knowledge to grab, just like you shouldn't roll behind roy. It would add flavor to marth, but dancing blade isn't something you should be using a lot anyway.

Dancing blade's third hit is an amazing kill move mixup. It's really hard to say how to set things up but using the third hit of dancing blade usually does a good job killing at like 110% sometimes.
Side B shouldn't be used for much of your gameplay anyway besides mixing up your moves to make it hard to predict for your opponent(s).
If this was Melee, against floaties like Peach, Side B jab-->uptilt is great. Not sure of it's effectiveness in PM.
