Hey, the link for downloading the PAL files is broken on 4share. I only want a few of the fighter.pacs (just Ganon at the moment really) so that the PSA I'm making doesn't have crappy sound effects. Could someone re-upload the fitganon.pac please?

I would also like those PAL files. A more Windows friendly PAC converter is currently on the to do list. I suspect having those files would prove very convenient. If there's any other place I can get them that's fine too.

Also, quick question about the PAC converter by Cos: does it convert stage pacs and such as well or is it somehow limited to fighter files?

Wiiscrubber will let me just rip my disc right? Then I can just get them all that way?

Out of curiosity, has there been any advances in regards to character .rels? Y'know, for... those mod things on other characters? <_>;

Character rels are still a developing hack type I believe. As for file patch code 3.5.1, our file patch code is now better than the NTSC version.

Hey hey, trying to keep this alive, though I honestly have a question:

Is there any code that would give me ZSS Seperate from Samus in the CSS? I'd like to NOT have to push a button combo just to get to play as her. PermaGiga/PermaWarioman/Alloys/HipsterPokemon isn't anything that would interest me, so I assume the code, if it exists, should not be too troublesome. I dunno, any way would work. Seperate slot, or even as part of the same slot for Samus but loading ZSS when you get to her CSPs.

Also is MarioD a seperate slot from Mario? Are they technically seperate characters? I'm curious.

Oh, hey, thanks a lot.

I also have another question, though it'll probably more code-extensive. I want to load the Emerald characters.

"oh but you can do that with button combinations".

I know that, but I want to do it through the CSS, by selecting their CSP. The idea is to give each character that holds the Fit---Dark the gray Randomselect CSP. When you select that CSP, the game loads the dark costume. Any way to make that possible?

If you get the textures and then insert the retextured models using filepatching then you can do this. Look at some guides. If you can't find the textures then you can use wiiscrubber to extract them from your disk.

I... fail to understand what you mean with this. I mean, are you talking about the PCS/PACs of the Emerald characters, or the CSPs? 'cause as it stands, I'm not making any sense of that. x.x

You get the models for the emerald characters. Let's say you want emerald Link.

You get your emerald Link model, rename it FitLink00.pcs and then put it in rsbp/pf/characters/link or whatever the correct file directory is. When you load your game with the filepatch code Link will now be emerald Link on his default costumes.

I am now going to sound very rude. Have you even read the guides? This is basic texture/model swapping. CSPs are also very easy to change. Go read the guides.

...yeah, you're not understanding what I just said. What you're saying is "HERP REPLACE ORIGINAL LINK WITH EMERALD LINK, REPLACE FIT00 CSP WITH GRAYQUESTIONMARK CSP", when what I'm saying is to ADD, not REPLACE, the gray randomselect CSP to Link, so that when THAT is selected, it loads FitDark, and I neither have to replace an existing costume with the emerald one (the basic method for pretty much every hack in the history of forever), nor have to use button activators along with the costume code to load the emerald one (method currently used by myself).

The most obvious way I can think is to use the file patch 3.5.5 which allows switching to different folders using button combinations but it sounds like you're against that.

There's always this: Click me! but I'm not sure if it's PAL. Oh hey, you already know about this anyway. I can see a post by you on KCMM, well that can be ignored then.

[COLLAPSE="Spoilers"]Oh and thanks for biting my head off when I'm just trying to help you. Maybe make it more obvious what you're trying to achieve next time you ask a question.[/COLLAPSE]

I wasn't biting your head off. If I was, I'd be swearing at a greater level. The point is, I'm asking because I'd like to have something similar to the effect in that video, except at a much smaller scale, because it'd be loading off the randomselect CSPs and redirecting to FitDark, is all. Plus I'm not even sure if that's released, or if it'll ever be released, anyway.

Uhh... what's the other thing I wanted? Oh yeah, being able to move after throwing the sandbag in HRC. I want this because of reasons.

You'd need a code for the sandbag thing, do some googling I guess.

As for masquerade, I don't think it's released. Dantarion quit. Best bet is to use the filepatch code 3.5.5 or whatever the newest is to switch folders for extra costumes.

I've been doing that. Only thing I got close to is a video on YT:

http://youtu.be/XYO4j999scI?t=1m

The guy's been super quiet lately, however, so I dunno.

Also, out of curiosity. Ever been an "infinite hammers" code? For uh, the challenge screen?

I have no actual idea as I don't like those kinds of codes, but... I dunno, really. I assume one entry is for multiplayer input and the other is for Adventure/solo modes? But, again, I have no idea. I'd assume one would have to submite the value in hex, but I dunno if it's on a 1-by-1 increment or more.

Here's the memdump of NTSC-U and PAL.

Here's an example of a code that I ported to PAL.

Reverse Name Sort NTSC-U [Dantarion]
0469F600 7C002051

sub. r0,r0,r4 -> sub. r0,r0,r2

I found that the command and its surrounding commands from NTSC-U at 8069F600 are at 80696E94 in PAL.

Reverse Name Sort (PAL) [Dantarion, ported by Standardtoaster]
04696E94 7C002051

sub. r0,r0,r4 -> sub. r0,r0,r2

I hope this helps a bit.
Sorry for necro-positng if it is, but THANK YOU!!! I have been looking for this everywhere!

Question everyone; I am attempting to port this code here:
Code:
Circle Camera (NTSC) [Igglyboo]
045B6D94 40200000
4A000000 805B6D8C
92210004 0006A540
86A00004 40200000
94210004 00000000
E0000000 80008000
And here's part of the code. The issue are the two line's I've marked; they both appear to point to 0000000, of which is the first byte of the file! The result is that dolphin errors out when I attempt to use this code... :(
Code:
Circle Camera (PAL) [Igglyboo, ported by FuzzyQuills]
045B7F90 40200000
4A000000 805B6D8C -> Can't work out PAL address... :(
922107B8 0006A540
86010EA8 40200000
942107B8 00000000
E0000000 80008000 -> Can't work out PAL address... :(
Anyone know what those two lines actually do? I looked up the two prefixes on the wiird web here, (link:http://geckocodes.org/index.php?arsenal=1 it's actually in this thread already somewhere) and one appears to be a pointer, while the second one clears execution status, according to the WiiRD link.

EDIT: Ok, I have progress, it isn't crashing anymore, now it's telling me the disc isn't inserted... :D
