2014 smash GameCube controller vs 2018 version

Which do you prefer? I don’t know if it’s in my head but the stick doesn’t seem as responsive on the 2018 smash bros GameCube controller compared to the 2014 version. Anyone feel the same?

From what I heard the new Smash controller is made from lower quality parts than the previous releases. Also keep in mind that not all controllers are made equal.

Ah so it isn’t just in my head. I find myself using the 2014 and older versions more.

Yeah those are really good and have good parts, I used to have a white one too.
