IMPORTANT EDIT: Okay guys, sorry to disappoint. Apparently Pice didn't think I'd have the balls to accept a $200 MM and that "I misunderstood him" so the bet has been reduced to a measly $50. Sad, I know. At least it is a nice chunk of money, still... I guess. Man, I was hoping for something epic... oh well. Here are the videos of our last MM:

Alright guys, I'm for real. No joke. This guy is confident he can beat me beyond belief, so what started out as a $10 MM escalated into a $200 MM. Last tournament I beat him in a $10 MM. However, since then he has purchased a copy of Smash (He lost his before) and now he thinks he can beat me with ease. However, I'm sure I can beat him. So a lot is at stake here. I main Dr. Mario and play Falco as a second and he mains Falco/Marth and also plays Shiek.

I call upon you as my fellow Falco players to aide me in the epic conquest. Some advice... would most definitely be appreciated. I'm going to put up the videos of my last MM with him (Which was at a tournament a couple months ago) and I'm going to my friend's house tommorrow Friday May 11 to get some videos of my Doc and Falco fighting the characters the guy I'm MMing uses. The MM is scheduled to take place on July 7th, 2007, so I have plenty of time to practice. Thanks for your help in advance, everyone.

Well a couple of months can do a lot for a smahs player, he could be way better by now, so be careful read up on the threads like OBserving the key to winning, 7 habits of a good smasher and those types of threads, particularly by Wobbles the Phoenix.

LOL what if he picks up a new character, just to mess with you? I've picked up new characters and randomly got good with them in the amount of time you have to prepare for this. I'd suggest getting practice against everyone.

Also don't choke ^_^

just work on your falco, falco does well against all of his characters. is it a best of 3 with counterpicks?

That's a two way road, though. That gives me time to practice as well. As for a new character? That'd be interesting, but I doubt it. I think any character he'd pick up I'd be able to handle. Oh well, we'll see. I'll have videos up in awhile.

I see no $200 money match in your sig, Kashakunaki :D.

Anyway, just work on your waveshining. Falco dittos usually come down to who's best at (obviously) foremost l-cancelling and general aerial skills, and then shine skills.

If he's going to play Marth, watch for the CG. It's HELL.

And good luck.

Well from those mms its pretty apparent that you main doc, so as long as you've upped your game with him a little you should be good. But these are the falco forums dammit so here it goes! In the falco ditto you both were playing in a very basic manner. If falco is his main and he's improved a lot then there will be something to watch out for because he will waveshine combo your falco to hell and back before you know it. This means you need to up your falco ditto game as well. You need more work on your shl approaches and waveshine combos in general, i don't even recall seeing one in your falco matchup from either of you, what I do recall however was seeing a lot smashes and other silly things which left you both open.

Yeah just practice your tech skill with falco basically and take a look at the forward vs. dashizwiz falco dittos, they both know how to play their respective dittos and characters very well so a lot can be learned from there. Also you need to learn to use your laser more effectively by jumping in and out with shls and rshls, fullhopped triple laser etc. Falcos laser opens up a world of options for him to lead into combos, grabs and just about anything so really get used to it and how to space and setup with it. The biggest problem i see from beginner to intermediate level falcos is that they just kind of use the shl to stun their opponent and then go for a smash at the end or a shffled aerial of some sort. While this works on noobs very well against someone with more experience its a very predictable and punishable tactic.

lol pice needs to read some of my dr mario tips in gamer's thread. for the falco dittos you definintely need to work on tech skill, i know it has been said. work on getting a shine in and stringing that into a combo. otherwise i would say you need to get quicker.

but i would say it seems your dr mario is FAR above your falco. stick to him.
