Looking for interest in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area for a local smash-fest.

Just planning to do alot of friendlies, some 4 way ffa games, and maybe a friendly bracket competition for kicks.

1:30 setup, 2:00-whenever you've had your fill of smashing (or I fall asleep)

My house SE Cedar Rapids,
Get ahold of me for the adress (I need to know how many are coming)

3 TVs, 2 systems, spare controllers, drinks

Need you to bring:
1 TV?, 2 systems, your own controller,
snacks/money for food (if you plan on getting hungry)

People are already bringing (thanks!)
3 setups (thanks, we should be set on setups!)
Plenty of extra controllers!

There'll be good variety of skill levels present, so if your in the area come by, get to know some of your fellow Cedar Rapidian smashers, and have a good time.

Thanks for the interest man, but yeah, its pretty dang far for you. Hope to see you around the area though, people in Des Moines needto get stuff together, thats much closer for guys from the west side of Iowa.

I was actually refering to the incentive of having sexual relations with another man and also get out of the house for a while, so that being the incentive, and wanting to come... but i guess you could have also takin the post as saying i wanted an incentive, such as bribery or something. was aiming for the first one, though

Sorry I missed you on AIM Zyroqwa, I'll try to get ahold of you on Sunday when I get back in town.

Updates: I'm pretty confident that there will be 10 people+ at this (which is great!) I'm pretty sure we have enough TV's/systems (thanks everyone whos bringing stuff). If someone has a spare power strip lying around, it wouldn't hurt to bring it (I have like 10 extension cables, so we'll make something work one way or another.)

I'm going to put up a sign in the front yard so people know they're here. Please park cars on the street (preferably not infront of someone's driveway x.x).

I'll return the favor of $5 mm's for anyone coming from out of town, first claimant per car. Best 2 of 3. Choose Marth/Pichu/Roy/Yoshi/Shiek first match, and I also won't use the same character through matches. I hope that makes it so you win.

Kintehr -- Won't MM ya, but I'd like a best-of-five with ya, my Yoshi vs your Marth/Yoshi.

Also, I'll extend the MM offer that Kintehr said. Anyone needing fuel money (one MM per car), $5, best of five, you can pick my character from the following: Peach, Yoshi, Kirby, Zelda (not Shiek), and DK. If you don't want to play any of them, I have a very scrubby Luigi, Marth, and Samus in the waiting. ;P

Well for one your not gonna really make a profit. 10 bucks total. And I don't think there is going to be an actuall cash prize. There will be a tournament though. All things aside it's a 4 hr drive...not too bad.......kinda not really would be coo to see ya there.

Yup, rawr hit it on the head, The earliest to show up would be about 1:30 for set up, people doing warmups around 2:00. I'm hoping to get in a small singles bracket as soon as everyone shows up (maybe like 2:30), and maybe a RR team competition for those of you who're interested, lots of smashing is the only order of the day, though.
