Technically, you did ask two separate questions, with the assumption that we would naturally combine them into one. I initiate the Dair as soon as I leave the ground, then fast fall after the hitbox comes out. I main as Ganon, but his dair is roughly the same thing, just much slower.

generally, yes, but it's not the same all the time. Fast falling a dair over the edge to kill someone can't be ff unless you want to die too.

Definitely, I remeber the first time I used Falcon, that was horible ^_^. For the record, Ganon dies in the same situation, I believe
