If he doesn't mess up, there's really nothing you can do. Try smash DI'ing maybe for some extra distance, but if he's good at it, then the only thing you can do is hope he misses an L-cancel or something. You can do just as bad to him. Up throw, up tilt, regrab, up throw to up smash or chain grab.

Try crouch- canceling his d-air and shine. Unless he doesn't do a d-air but intead shines to start the combo, then your screwed.

Smash DI up at an angle. It'll increase the Falco's chance of missing it shffled dair as well as giving you a larger chance of jumping out of the combo.

fair trade my ***.

best bet is to DI the initial shine down so you don't go flying into the air. once you're in the air, you're meatwad.

I think the crouch canelling is a really good idea because if u are on the ground and u cc his shine u will immediately hit the ground and can tech it. Another way to DI could be Smash DI down because it sends u towards the ground faster making it hard to follow up. The DI up also works well, but especially if he tries to do a shffled u-air too fast, it will miss. A good expamle of that is a lvl 9 DI\'ing your shine because they almost always smash DI upwards.^^

You smash DI the dair to the side that you'll end up futher from him on. the side the shine cant reach on. if hes nt used to smash DI and doesnt follow up low damage dair like that that are smash DId to the side with Dtilts or w/e, you can get out when he shines. dont bother trying to smash DI the shine. the dair is a lot easier and a lot more effective.
and if you fail at smash Diing any of the dairs and he uairs, DI the way hes facing to get out of that easier.

Who knows y he isnt anymore, but lol at triple post. To be put simply a falco player good enough at comboing can combo 0-death almost everytime.

WTF!!! sry for double post my comp lagged.
I literally loled when I saw this, though technically it was a triple post. Ever heard of the edit button XD

Now on topic, DIing weird/ ccing are two of the best ways to get out of a simple shine combo. Crouch cancelling can be devestating, though, since the opponent may go for a pillar while you just cc it all in yo face.

Otherwise, hope for a missed L-cancel.

Triple post Ftw...and if u do get pillared while cc'ing umight be able to roll dodge away.
hmm, Fox+Falco= No rolls lol.
I would just DI foward or shine and go down and drillshine if you can, all depends on how fast you think.
