Who?
Eustace Bagge is a main character in Courage: The Cowardly Dog. Eustace is Murial’s husband and second owner of Courage. Eustace is always grumpy and gets himself into trouble. Whenever Eustace is in an episode, he always ends up suffering by the end of the episode. It seems that the only things Eustace seems to love is his chair, truck, and Murial (even though he hardly ever shows his feelings to her).
Moveset Potential?
Eustace Bagge is not known for fighting, but he could still have a very interesting moveset. Eustace has been known to get violant a lot and use weapons occasionally. Eustace’s main weapon in the show would have to be his iconic mallet. Another weapon Eustace has used before was his Brother’s hunting gun, “Big Bob”, a big giant laser gun. Another idea I have is that Eustace could use the Slab to knock opponents away or just use it to cover himself from incoming damage. Eustace could even have an attack where he puts on his iconic mask and scares an opponent, causing them to get knocks back in fear. If Multiversus have a final smash equivalent, Eustace could turn himself into a wrecking ball. The possibilities are endless when you just watch a few episodes of Courage the Cowardly Dog!
Why?
Courage was a really popular Cartoon Network show back in the 2000s, giving many kids nightmares. Scooby Doo also recently has a crossover movie with Courage, allowing kids of this generation to see what the fuss is all about. Eustace Bagge is not the most popular Courage rep out there, but he could bring a very interesting moveset to the roster. Eustace could be a really good shock character. Eustace could be a very wacky character in Multiversus. It would also make sense for Eustace’s luck to get himself into a fighting game as a punching bag.
