The people who recognize Min Min but not Sephiroth had to be zoomers. I have never played a mainline Final Fantasy game in my life and even I know who Sephiroth is because of his iconic song One Winged Angel and seeing him in Kingdom Hearts. Most people who have never played Final Fantasy that has heard of the series likely knows who Sephiroth is as he is that iconic. Only zoomers with little to no knowledge of the Retro age of gaming wouldn't know who Sephiroth is if anybody.
