If a Democratic president even attempted a fraction of the **** Twittler did, not only would the gop be out for his head, they'd likely get it, they'd push for an execution of that president. And if that president caused an angry mob to try and overthrow the government just cuz they lost the election like trump did? They'd immediately be put in cuffs and Mitch would push for death by firing squad on them.

It's the one thing that pisses me off about the current situation. The GOP is the most corrupt party in the countries history, and democrats often let them get away with it cuz they don't want to play hardball, they want to act like there's still some sort of path to negotiations with republicans, as if they have some sort of dignity left. There's not a single ounce left in the GOP. The fact that many are still clinging to the bs claims that there was election fraud cuz trump lost, despite 0 evidence at all pointing to it, and every single lawsuit brought up being shutdown by the courts(including by many conservative judges) because the trump administration couldn't provide a single piece at ALL, STILL many GoP members cling to it.

It's time democrats stopped letting GoP members walk all over them and actually push back hard against them. They have majority now thanks to Georgia, even if it's just slim, but it seems like now they're getting cold feet. They need to stop caving in to republicans and make Mitch's life a living hell for the next 2 years. And most importantly they need to hold trump accountable and at the very least make it so he can never run again, ideally he needs to be locked up for inciting a literal mob to attack the capital.

Because this constant attempt still of "going high when they go low" like Michelle Obama tried to tell them and voters to do, is not gonna work. It didn't work last time, it won't work now.
