Absolutely. Everytime a new represented franchise get's a character in the roster, it helps that franchise become more known and more people get into it. That's the main reason I want Goemon in Smash so my favorite gaming series Ganbare Goemon/Mystical Ninja becomes more well known outside of Japan.
