People will keep saying things about it because they'll keep playing Ultimate like suckers instead of doing things about like playing other Smash games where these issues don't exist.

@SGoW They do. SSF2, Project M and Melee currently have way better online.

Smash 4 has some decent online, most of the time. You'd occasionally encounter players with lag as large as a mountain.
