Duck Hunt was my most wanted before 3DS came out. The ESRB leak was VERY hype for me, I am so glad it ended up being real.

I can't remember honestly. I was a pre-teen at the time so I think my reasoning was as simple as "I like retro characters and I like his design". Miis and Pac-Man were also high up there. One of the 4 characters I wanted at the time didn't make it in through - Muddy Mole from Mole Mania, who I am still strongly supporting to this day.
