Well, if you REALLY want to be technical here. GanonDORF doesn't use the Trident, GaNON does. Ganondorf has always been depicted as a swordsman, and his arguably most iconic blade is the blade from the Spaceworld 2000 demo.

But that's not Ganondorf, that's Phantom Ganon, which is, lorewise, as far as I know, some evil spirit doppelganger he pulled out of the aether. And either way, both Phantom Ganon in other appearances, and Death Sword, if you consider Death Sword to be Twilight Princess' version of Phantom Ganon, use swords.

But Ganondorf has never wielded the trident. The only time lorewise that Ganon(dorf) has wielded the Trident was in 4 Swords, and all that happened off screen, and by the time we encountered him, he had already turned into Pig Ganon.

Are they the same person? Yes, but a costume in no way would work. If Isabelle was too different in proportions to Villager to be an Echo fighter, Pig Ganon would 100% be a standalone. Ganondorf, while not fat, is a tall, well built man. Pig Ganon is usually either ****ing massive, like in Ocarina, or obscenely fat and stout like in ALttP.

Not gonna lie, the only reason I even recognize that as Ganon is because the video tells me it is, otherwise it could pass as "Generic fantasy orc 112#". Even a redesign like Ridley, I recognize the character as "This is Ridley", that mod strays way too far away from what Pig Ganon is supposed to be.
