If you're talking about when a user comments on another's profile, they could use Private Conversations if they want the message to be private. If you wish for your thoughts to not be shared with anyone, then I recommend not posting them anywhere on the internet.

I don't mean commenting on profile posts, I mean seeing all the posts themselves on the main page of the entire forum, literally one of the first things you see when you enter Smashboards. As it is, it's a publicized version of "unpopular opinions thread".
