I wasn’t trolling.

Going into a character sub forum and criticizing that character by calling it “unoriginal” and calling its fan base “toxic” in order to illicit a negative response would be indeed trolling. And this isn’t just for Incineror. This is a forum wide rule for any character.

If you set out to troll, it’s trolling.
I didn’t set out to, therefore it isn’t trolling.

According to both the Terms of Service and the Smash Ultimate board rules, posting a “grief thread” in a character sub forum would count as trolling against the fan base. Like I said, if you wish, voice your grievances, do so in the link I provided or the ultimate general discussion thread.

Okay then, but it still shouldn't be considered trolling, as I didn't set out to troll.

That’s like saying someone stole something from a store but when confronted by it, said that he did steal because he didn’t intend to. So it wouldn’t be stealing.

Or a student who insulted another student but insisted he didn’t insult the student because he didn’t have that intention so it wouldn’t be considering insulting then.

Yes, but “trolling” isn’t robbing a store.
They are different in many ways.

Not really. Stealing is against the rules. Trolling is against the rules. Just because the accused denied any involvement due it not being thier intention doesn’t absolve them of it.
