People will go with what leads them to greater reward. even though developing a ground game is beneficial to all players, unless they play a character where that can lead to as much reward as a stray aerial or grab, they wont focus on it.

Today I found out 3 things about Ryu. Assuming the sixriver people are correct, Tatsumaki Senpukyaku is leg invincible from frames 1 to an unknown frame.

Also, repeating jab 1, light Utilt, and light Dtilt have 6 total frames. That's 4 recovery frames for jab 1 and light Dtilt and 1 recovery frame for light Utilt.

Those 3 moves are also all assumed to special-cancelable on frame 7.

If you can't read Japanese -- don't know if it's kanji or whatever -- use Google translate to get rough ideas of what they're saying or compare frame data with what you know.

Also, some of it might need to be confirmed. I trust the sixriver people on frame data, but just to be on the safe side, look at it with skepticism. Welp, have a good day, Emblem Lord.

thats only for the IASA special cancel frame. if you let the moves follow through then they are all around 15 total frames. i knew this already because lordwilliam1234 did ryus data for me about two days after he dropped. I knew about tatsu as well.

Emblem Lord wants it to be Hyper Fighting Tatsu with its 11f invul startup and like 12f invul recovery.

Figured as much. I did say that the 6 total frames were for repeating those moves and not their normal total frames.

I guess the problem is that frame data work is kinda... slow compared to other games. Might just be because dumping Smash is different than other games.
