Yeah, that was more or less the spiteful part of me venting after some recent happenings. I'm not one to hold a grudge. Normally I'm one to see good in everyone/thing (save for myself, obviously) but the pessimism/hatefulness has been cranked up to 11 recently.

I know that feel, hun. All too well. Including the bit about self-worth.

Hopefully one of those days I'll find a girl that doesn't run off with my best friend, who then proceeds to excommunicate me from every corner of life I'd previously known/been a part of. Or at least I'll be able to bring myself to hate them for it. Apathy is hardly the smart way to go when someone tells you "**** you I hope you die," much less forgiving them and trying to justify it because "it's better this way."

It's funny, 'cause I know a lot of people (even myself, in a kneejerk fashion) would say to hell with the both of them. Honestly, though? It's difficult to harden your heart against people you truly and honestly love.

You're not, and it wouldn't matter to me if you were anyway. It was my fault for throwing it out there out of nowhere, anyway.

It was (hell, "is" up until 2 days ago) hard to process in the first place, given that these were both people I'd give my life for in a heartbeat. I hurt them both in the past, and I never forgave myself for it, so it just kinda came as a product of karma. In a way, supported this happening.

xD I didn't mind that you threw that little bit out there, for the record. Venting is chicken soup for the soul. I always encourage it. You can talk to me about anything, Izzy.

I can't even tell you not to chain yourself to your karma without calling myself a hypocrite. Like I said before, I have always felt like I've failed or disappointed people in the past.

My most recent lover/girlfriend was no exception. I'm still haunted by our break-up. Whatever confidence I had in myself was gone the moment she walked out of my life.

*pat pat* No amount of disappointment in the past could ever make you any less awesome now. May whatever harpy foolish enough to hurt you roll over in their grave. (Unless you still like them, of course). I realize I myself am being a hypocrite, but I truly believe every person other than me deserves to be happy.~ And good to know, I don't like talking much out of courtesy.

Heh. Well, it's hard for me to see myself in that light sometimes. The tree and the forest, and all of that. No doubt you can attest to that. Either way, I appreciate the thought. <3

I'm not very vocal (mostly because I don't have a mic, and because I only used Skype to keep in touch with those two people I mentioned earlier. So I use it even less now), but I'll send you a request anyway. IsmaR_AZ is my name, I think.
