I don’t consider Sora a Final Fantasy character either but I definitely could see the argument considering kingdom hearts has the final fantasy spell naming conventions and stuff. I mean if you stretch the definition enough, like 90% of squaresoft’s non-FF RPG’s could be considered final fantasy spin-offs.
I don’t see how that’s the same as saying Mario is a Zelda character though, did you mean to say it’s like calling Link a Mario character?
