funnily enough the thought has crossed my mind and actually the reason i use the eddie murphy head as an avatar is because it's inherently stupid and nonsensical enough but just physical enough of a concept that people here tend to visualise me on a conceptual level vaguely associated with the giant eddie murphy head featured in meet dave (2008) as opposed to an actual human and that like. that feels really euphoric i don't know how to explain it

Human bodies are kinda inconvenient, so I don't think it's really that weird to not want to have a physical form, even if a lot of the population might not think so. Reminds me of a Kurt Vonnegut (iirc) short story where humans have done away with the need for corporeal forms and are happier as a result.

I don't think I'd completely do away with a physical form myself, but it'd be fantastic if I could shapeshift or something, I could at least finally have the sort of physical form I've long wanted
