Seeing as Xbox and PlayStation expect to release their next consoles around 2028, my guess is we'll see Nintendo's no earlier than 2025.

I asked because someone on this forum said the new console would at least be announced this year, but I am not sure about that.

Seeing the Peach game kinda killed my faith for the new system being revealed this year, TBH. Seeing as it's a Switch title that I can't see being a BoTW-style launch title for the next system alongside its Switch release, I don't think it'll be announced this year.
