Same for whales and walrus as opposed to being strictly Beast.
The system allows me to do funny things to build around or connect these families without needing to stretch too hard. For example, designing a dragonfly monster that gets more perks if it is on a team of both Bug and/or Dragon.

What if you made an Ameoba-based monster, eh eh, what family would it be in, also shouldn't plants have their own family, I don't know what their benefit will be, maybe make them cured by status ailment faster if status ailments are cured automatically in battle.
