This began as a joke, but now I think about it, that wouldn't be too bad an idea - it'd basically force a very keep-away-ey character to attack at some point, give a character with low KO power extra damage to work with, and make time-outs less viable. Make it the lowest priority "attack" in the game so it doesn't function as a free shield, but also make it uncounterable so Sonic isn't left a bigger target with basic movement.
