Byleth has a ton more kill confirms off nair and tech chase set ups. Its also way better on shield because the landing hitbox creates timing mix ups.
Palu has a much easier to use nair, but its generally easy to punish on shield and once it hits you, you 100% know how to DI it. As a trade off, it kills and does a lot of damage.
I like Byleth nair better though, its much more versatile in shield pressure and combo routes.
The idea that people still think its just knock off Palu nair is laughable
