Context: The BBC are closing their older children's TV channel CBBC in the coming years, one of the only 3 channels for that demographic on Freeview alongside Pop and CITV, I'm singling out CITV since Pop only recently went Freeview and therefore CITV is the channel more associated with CBBC as a "rival" to my generation. CBBC was extremely important to a lot of low income families who couldn't afford channels like Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network.
