I really like the themed routes of Ultimate's Classic Mode, but I do have to admit it'd be cool if hitting higher difficulties meant you could unlock secret alternate routes and not just fighting both Hands.

The themed routes are really cool definitely and it's fun thinking about them, but I'd have to agree. Once you play it once, you've basically just finished it. There isn't much surprise going into the same fights over and over so there really isn't a point aside from grabbing a fighter spirit. Which is also messed up since there's already multiple fighter spirits and yet you can only get alternates from the shop.
