Wait but wasn’t pretty much the entire smash fandom making “haha they put genocide in smash” jokes when the first galeem trailer was shown, and talking about how weirdly dark it seemed? I’m pretty sure that’s a lot of people agnowledging it. Jokes about how mario keeps dying in the reveal trailers and how weird that it is are huge too.
