What type of stratgery do you use against lvl 9 AI's

Apparently, the Samus AI is programmed to camp at times, but it doesn't check if you've had a reflector up for the last ten seconds.

    Smash Attack: Potencial?

On the other hand, he DID say he got it right, all of the time, so if he's a shake smash prodigy and gets over consistancy issue, it really wouldn't be that different from a regular smash. Except you might punch someone if you get really excited. What I'm interested in is if shake smash has...

    Smash Attack: Potencial?

You're ready to punish your opponent with a stick smash, so you shake, and nothing happens. Or even worse, you're trying to avoid the IC's grab, but the game picks up a little shake from the remote and you randomly do a smash instead.

Stop it with the Lazy Man's Way Out! /rant thread

The thing is, your opponent will counter Marth better than they could counter MK.

Stop it with the Lazy Man's Way Out! /rant thread

I think that using MK as a main actually NEGATES his ability to not be counterpicked, because if you lost with MK, you no longer have a safe counterpick, and in the third round your opponent can CP your CP or use their main against your MK.

Stop it with the Lazy Man's Way Out! /rant thread

The problem is, there are three rounds. What can you do once they counterpick Marth? Edit: Or basically: 1. What happens if you lose the first round? 2. How do you know they'll use Olimar?

    Z-Axis workings...?

Thats a pure invinciblity frame. It'll block everything.

Ledge Sweet Spot and "Friction" Lists?

Moves like Sing and pikmin-less pikmin chain will increase the ledge sweetspot.

    Intentional Or Not?

I think that we don't have enough information about DDD's chaingrab to tell if it was intentional or not. On the other hand, desynch seems pretty intentional since it was also in Melee, and Sakurai might have even saw it as funny and representative of the nature of the Ice Climbers.

Should Metaknight be Banned? ***Take 3***

The main argument that I heard from well-respected members were that items actually appear closer to whoever's losing. I'm sort of skeptical on that, but if its true, it throws out the whole argument.

    train computers?

Eh, it seems they like to copy things that just kill or combos consistantly. They also seem to copy more of what TO do rather than what NOT to do. However, given that the ZSS hasn't changed at all, its probable that at least, the ones in your game didn't learn.

*A proposal for a change in the counterpicking process*

Why do we even give players an advantage if they're losing? Isn't that what Sakurai does, except over the course of the set instead of within a single match?

    Chain Grabbing FTW

They actually figured out how to break out of that now.

    train computers?

People have only noted CPUs appearing to copy certain "auto-win" techniques (FALCON PAUNCHx10 in a row), and few have claimed that they can copy anything as complex as juggling suit pieces or even spacing in general.

Should Metaknight be Banned? ***Take 3***

Tell that to the several hundred page long thread. Furthermore, how do you enforce a ban of planking?
