In my opinion Mega Man is amazing at edgeguarding and has some of my favorite tools to do so. Fsmash, dsmash, and hard knuckle work great on recovering opponents with their big hitboxes and power. I tend to do worse near the center of the stage as opposed to the ledge, where I feel Mega Man shines.

DHD looks to have an incredibly unique moveset. Gunman's probably gonna be popular with the competitive community.

I could see extra playable characters being more of a time release sort of thing. Perhaps to generate hype for the wii u version, sakurai will not announce certain characters that may become available to use in both versions upon the wii u release.
