As for Crash I bet they could make his move set fun. Personally, for his spin neutral B, I would want it to be a multi-hit attack with the final hit launching opponents in a completely random direction. Could launch them at literally any angle. I feel like that would match Crash’s wackiness...

I don’t think there are any hard barriers. They can do whatever they want. For speculation’s sake, I think it’s fair to assume that Assist Trophies becoming characters are less likely, simply because they are already represented in the game. Same with spirits. They are less “front and center”...
